Fake Colgate Cleaner
Many U.S. store owners are duping the public as a warning goes out about
fake Colgate tooth polish made by extremely stupid but enriched
scammers.

(Best Syndication) The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted
a warning that counterfeit Colgate toothpaste has been discovered in
four states including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and
Maryland. Colgate Palmolive released a statement saying that there are
indications that this product does not contain fluoride and may even
contain Diethylene Glycol. |

Comment: It does not contain fluoride?
That is just as bad!
The counterfeit toothpaste has been found in several “dollar type”
stores. The consumer is warned to look at the packaging to help
determine authentic products. The counterfeits can be easily
identified because the labeling will indicate that it is manufactured
in South Africa.
Colgate does not import toothpaste into the United States from South
Africa. The company also says they do not incorporate Diethylene
Glycol as an ingredient in Colgate toothpaste anywhere in the world.
Diethylene glycol is toxic to humans and animals.
The packaging will also include various misspellings. The counterfeit
packages can be examined for several misspellings including: "isclinically"
"SOUTH AFRLCA" "South African Dental Assoxiation".
Consumers who suspect they may have purchased counterfeit product, can
call Colgate’s toll-free number at 1 800 468 6502.
